Season of Change

Wow its been a long time since I have sat down to blog - so sorry. Between being a full time mom and wife, a full time nurse, a photographer and many other hats I just have not had time to sit down.

Now I guess you are wondering why today? Why is today different from any other day? I have to say it is not due to turning in any of my wonderful hats I wear, but it is due to the fact we have some big news to tell everyone......

Anyone that knows us very well knows we are always open to change, we are nomads at heart and we are always open to where God leads us. Well, God has opened the doors for us to move to Hickory, NC. Jason has been offered a job as a Campus Pastor at Christ Church. We are very excited about this opportunity and we truly fell in love with the town. There are big town aspects as well as small town aspects. We are close to hiking, skiing, and the beach. They even have a farmer's market every Saturday were I can get fresh fruits and vegetables. The landscape is beautiful, which means ample places to take pictures. And we have found a cute little house to rent that is on 1.5 acres with sturdy trees to hang swings for the kids.

Our big move is planned for May 31st. Please pray for us during this time. As much fun change can be it is also very stressful. We are going to miss our families at The Vine and I am going to miss my family at work, as well as all the wonderful families I love on every week. Part of my heart will always stay in Atlanta :).

The Sebren's at the beach!

A few weeks ago Jason and I took the kids on a much anticipated (and needed) vacation. Weatherly had been talking about it since last year - she believes the beach is her true home. We were hesitant at first about going in September, being Weatherly's first year in "big school", but after talking to multiple moms we decided to go through with it. We love going during the school year instead of true summer months because it is less crowded, more family oriented and a lot cheaper. I am totally not sure if we will continue going during the "fall" months as Weatherly gets older, and as the boys begin going to "big school" - but this year was totally fabulous - as always!
